The programme proposes a perfect balance between high-level academic requirements and a self-empowerment approach, in harmony with the professionalization facet of the diploma.
The programme is particularly relevant for professionals wishing to improve either specific knowledge or skills on EU-related issues.
It offers the opportunity to reinforce the participants' general and specific knowledge of the EU and its functioning.
It also provides participants with a deeper insight of the daily activities of EU professionals, in order to improve their competencies for a future international career.
Classes (seminars and lectures) are offered in the evening (from Monday to Saturday) and are taught in English.
Flexibility is ensured. Students may indeed choose to follow specific parts of the programme only. According to their preference and professional needs, they can register either for the professionalization module or for one of the elective modules offered in the MEUS.
The academic jury decides admission to the MEUS on the basis of applicants' academic achievements and/or professional experience.
Are eligible candidates who have conducted studies of at least 300 credits (in Social Sciences, Economics, Political Science, Law, Communication and Language Studies) or who have acquired minimum 180 credits and have at least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field to be recognised as VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience).
The MEUS is designed for professionals. The programme is designed for EU and international affairs practitioners as well as for academics and civil servants from local, regional, national and European public administrations.
The number of participants is limited to 25 students (with a minimum of 12 students registered for the full program).
